A: Most people pre book a hire car or private transfer or jump in a taxi.
Q: How much is a taxi to Puerto Del Carmen / Playa Blanca from the airport?
A: Pto del Carmen = 15-20 euro. Playa Blanca = 35-40 euro
Q: What Information and paperwork do we require to hire a car?
A: You will require both parts of your UK / Eire driving licence, your Passport and Accommodation address.
Q: If we hire a car or get a taxi, how do we find our accommodation?
A: Along with your deposit confirmation, you will receive your full accommodation address, link to a printable map, easy road directions, key and villa information.
Q: Which side of the road do we drive on?
A: In Lanzarote we drive on the right Drivers seat will always be to the middle of the road. Oh! and we have the same time in Lanzarote as in the UK and Eire, do not adjust your watch!
Q: What documentation do we require when driving in Lanzarote?
A: It is Law in Spain that you always carry your Passport and/or driving licence.
Q: What are the drink driving laws in Spain?
A: Stricter than in the UK / Eire Dont drink and drive!

Q Do the Villas have security alarms,air/con heating?
A: All the villas are fitted with Security alarms and instructions are with your deposit confirmation, the alarm will not be on when you arrive!
Lots of fans, but no air/con. NB. There is no heating in the villas, not that you would need it!
Q: All villas do have a private swimming pool, do we have to do anything to maintain it?
A: Yes!! All pools have an Helicol solar roof panels heating system and an AquaDreams solar cover. Make sure that the pool cover is on when you are not using the pool, don't go out all day and leave the cover off. Your pool will keep warmer and cleaner with the cover on. Always make sure that the cover is on overnight, otherwise you will suffer the consequences! Always make sure that the rolled off cover is securely tied to stop wind damage.
Q: Can we drink the tap water
A: Yes. use the small tap which has an American Seagul water purifier system All tap water in Lanzarote is desalinated, and fairly tasteless.
Q: We are arriving into Lanzarote early morning when can we get access to our villa?
A: For Arriving guests the villa is usually ready. However should you arrive earlier than advised and your property is not ready, you are welcome to leave your baggage and take yourself off down the shops.
Q: We have a late flight on our day of departure, can we stay in the villa longer than normal?
A: The villa should be vacated by 09.45 on your day of departure; however should you be on a late flight you have the option to book an extra half a day, so that you can leave at any time on your departure day - as long as the villa is not already booked on your departure day. Charged at 50% of nightly price.
Q: Do we need to bring towels and bedding with us?
A: No All the villas have house towels and linen all you require to bring is yourselves. You may wish to bring your own towels for the beach.
Q: How do we order a taxi for our return trip to the airport?
A: No problem, I will order one for you when you are here.

Q: Do I really need travel Insurance
A: Yes absolutely, Can I use my EHIC card in Lanzarote, yes you can in any Social Security clinic. There is one in Puerto del Carmen,Tias, and Playa Blanca. I will assist you if you need this service.
